After each meet, if your
swim improved to a higher time standard you can
get the patch for that swim. Click here for the
2005 - 2008 National Age Group Motivational
Times:
Short Course Yards
Long Course Meters.
For example, if your 100 Free time went from
"AA" to "AAA" and you'd like a patch, email
Dave
McRae with the following information:
Swimmer Name
Stroke (Fly, Back, Breast,
Free, IM)
Time Standard Patch (BB, B,
A, AA, AAA, AAAA)
Whether an Age Group patch
is needed (large round patch)
Swimmer Practice Group (so
we can give your patches to your coach)
The Rules
- this is an optional program, based upon your
honesty.
Swims eligible for patches are as follows:
- "A" times and faster for GOLD and SENIOR
swimmers
- "BB" times and faster for BRONZE and SILVER
swimmers
- Your coach will be given your patch to give
to you.
- Each patch request will be verified prior to
the patch being distributed
This program accomplishes several positive
goals:
1. Each swimmer is aware of their current time
standard and can easily see goal times to
improve to the next level.
2. The swimmer gets patches as the season
progresses instead of at the end of the season,
which continually motivates towards success.
3. Only swimmers interested in the program have
to participate.
4. Swimmers can show off their accomplishments
as soon as they occur.
5. Fees - $5.00 for large age group patch
and $2.00 for smaller patch.
