Thanks to the Press - The Bayou Barracuda welcomes coverage by the local media on the sport of swimming.  Swimming isn't just an Olympic sport.  Swimming is a sport that requires a high level of dedication and discipline from its athletes year round.  As a minor sport, except in Olympic years, the efforts of local swimmers frequently do not garner the publicity that other sports enjoy.  Therefore, any media coverage highlighting the efforts of this elite group of athletes is appreciated by the swimmers, coaches, and families.
